The eigentum/extra Tschapka description didn't sound right to me, but the old saying about "the more I know, the less I know" was ringing in my ears. The square-tongued liner seems odd, too.

A 1915 Garde Tschapka here has a visor with a black underside; a pre-war line regiment helmet does, too.
