Thank you both for the advice and education. Was the 6th army predominately Bavarian regiments. so it would needs a Bavarian wappen. Not Prussian. Regards David

Dear All Just received this 1915 rather moth eaten Prussian ORs helmet it has makers mark inside and is size 53 It is named and has B J A V1 1 on the back peak. The stitching is still in good sound condition the only fault is the tatty liner. And its not easy getting parts for 1915...

I am also looking for the grey steel slit rivet's that secure the spike. David W
