Thank you for help b.loree . You have confirmed what I though I am new to collecting Pickelhaubes so you help is invaluable. The body and the brass spine are the only original parts. It will be a new project for me to get original parts to restore it Thanks again David

Forgot to say the holes for the Wappen are 100mm apart ? And the helmet size is small marked 53 inside.
