A white bayonet frog that is part of the 1.Garde-Regiment zu Fuss engraved bayonet set that I have recently purchased and which Steve refers to. Note the acceptance stamp on the back of the frog which matches the 2nd Company engraving on the blade and the troddel.

As a collector of veteran organization items, I really appreciated these images from 1931.

I should have gotten to James’ table a few minutes earlier last year. Art Sylvie got there just before I did and bought a beautiful Hessen Schirmmutze. I’m still kicking myself.
