Hello, I have a question about the 1894 Greacoat Collar tabs, what colors were used? I already know Red was for infantry, but did other units have other colors? Such as Green for jagers, and such?

I had, funny enough. It's mostly stuff from the 50s and onward, not a lot of old german things around. Only flecktarn jackets from the bundeswehr.

Where do I start my collection? I am younger than most searching I assume, and I wanted to start early and ask around for people with more knowledge on this topic than me. Where should I look for Pickelhaubes, shakos, etc anything really. Even reproductions.

Hello lars, my particular area of interest is the helmets and soft caps, I particularly like cavalry equipment. I like the cavalry Tschapkas, Busby and Metalhelme. but I have a soft spot for ersatz helmets.

i plan to start a collection of my own someday, however.
