Thank you Milosz for a very interesting thread. This is new information to me, so now I will look inside all the Krätzchen here to see if any carry these stamps. Really interesting!

Ww1 German all steel lance Lieb Hussar Regt

We are being blinded thinking that the lance and pennant are a set. There is nothing wrong with that lance. It’s been cut in half and threaded to join together. This is perfectly acceptable for those of us who have tried to ship a 3+ meter lance. The LHR 1 stamps are correct and a pleasure to see.

    1842 Prussian Reserve/Landwehr Infantry Helmet - NCO?

First off BOB OMG WAY TO GO. If a tiny fairy fluttered in from a forest, and said a collector could have only one Helmet. This is the helmet! I am very happy for you. Sand cast, no. That is pouring hot metal into a mold flat. Then shaped etc. Here is a good article a few of us wrote about cast...

Excuse. To me it looks like a white top with purple band.

    Rabbi's Cap

Nothing to do with Clergy. What is interesting, UR18 was the only cavalry Regt to change the Regimental colour during the war, adopting purple on 21 September 1915. But this cap is in the pre-war Dunkelblau pattern with white top. Very interesting.
