The helmet looks fine to me, but it would be better to post a picture of the marking you mean. I guess it is on the rear visor?

Very nice! I also have 2 trench watches here in my collection, both are in full working order too. One is German, with a DH marking on the back (Deutches Heer), the other one is US made, with a protective metal cover on the front, with several round holes in it, so you can still see the time...

That's a fake. Spike is wrong, hinterschiene is wrong, wappen is a copy, a bad one, liner isn't good. Let it pass you by, and save up for a nice one, this isn't even near that. Regards, Coert.

I sure hope so too, but knowing how Steve was, with all his posts, and above all helping other members, including me when I started collecting haubes, his posts wil be here forever. Steve was truly, as he stated, a Tennessee gentleman. Alway's helpful, and full of knowledge.
