That is a great helmet, Digger... I love this type of camouflage. Never knew ET also made that size (60).. I've got also a helmet like this but made by Siemens & Halske ( SH60)...But the colour's are not that bright as on your helmet...

How is it possible that a museum gave something like that ( a gift...) away? Does anyone knows what happened to this helmet?

Yeah , its a great piece James.. 👌 Main problem is the fur......although its over 100 years old it is not allowed any longer to import it to the EU... If customs find it it will be destroyed 😩

Damn.....love to buy that Saxon busby from you....but living in Europe it is impossible to import that one😭

People where much smaller than today. So finding one in your size is almost impossible... I' ve got a lot of helmets and only one fits me... It's a helmet from a general who was over 2 meters tall...
