Hi All, I need some advice on fixing a M15 chinstrap. The chinstrap has a cut which is approximately 50% transverse of the strap.. What tape or other means can I use prevent it from breaking? The leather is flexible. Thanks, Michel

Selling my Model 1895; Jaeger Tschako stamped for "Magdeburgische Jäger Bataillon 4." The markings are weakly visible. It came with a reproduction feldzeichen, which I finally replaced with an original one. I will add the two reproduction ones which I used too. Leather of the inside is fragile...

Hi Joe, thanks for answering. I photographed the spike next to a 100% original one which came out Verdun. Apart from the fact that the cone doesn't come of I don't see that much difference in shape. Best regards, Michel

Thanks guys, I did add it to my collection. The spike doesn't belong as it doesn't fit ;) So I'll search for one. The most exciting thing what made me buy it is that is from 1914. So it probably went to war. The fact that the spike is not present is possible as it could be lost somewhere...

That last one has a really low ventilation hole in the rear spine...
