Hi Rick. With that image of Weitze's Sabretache it certainly looks like the two square nuts bulging at the back but what about the third. In your hand is there any mark on the Skull where a third could have been mounted. It certainly looks convincing. (y) MFG John Josef

Hi Rick, Nice collection of Skulls and Congratulations on that. (y) My guess would be that the back plate was added years ago by someone who wanted to display the Skull somehow. Maybe it was for mounting on a plaque of some kind and that helped to hide its mounting from the front. :unsure...
