    Verdun Fort Douaumont

Greetings, I did a private tour to Verdun. Let me say, this was very helpful as this battlefield for the most part is a lovely drive along country roads, there are some areas that have the Parking P along the road but, you would completely miss or have no Idea what is off the road. There were...

    Mützenbänder of Imperial Times

So, I was thinking about the previous postings, and I realized that there was a bit more to share. Remember at the beginning, there was a comment made regarding the different colors of representing different divisions, like Red for Schiffsjungen or cadet.... Well, there was the period just post...

US TARIFFS ARE BRUTAL (Personal Anecdote)

For me, that chosen bier is Ayinger Bräuweisse. I can pick it up here still for around $4.50 - $5.50 for a 0.5L bottle. If I buy a case, (qty 20) I get 10% off. A keg costs around $300USD for a 50L. Which equals to about $6 for a liter (Maß) pour. I will be getting another Keg on Tuesday...

That is someone who you are gonna want as a very good friend/acquaintance...

US TARIFFS ARE BRUTAL (Personal Anecdote)

Ok, Thanks Alan for bringing up good points. Yes, The USPS and others have increased their shipping costs. The grouping I was successful for was for a metal (Tombak) badge, zinc metal wappen, a silver/bronze pin/nadel, two award documents and a period book. The final price was $1767. The 24%...

US TARIFFS ARE BRUTAL (Personal Anecdote)

Well, without getting into any political debate. The reality of tariffs just emphasized that they are indeed real to me today.... I was successful in a bid from a reputable Canadian Dealer I have dealt with in the past. In the past, shipping was $30 USD for a small package. That was what the...

Opinion On This German Machine Gunner Badge

Ok, so I will share a bit what I know. The Juncker marked badges are a minefield. Most are flooded with forgeries. I believe that the details around the bullets, and the "grips of death" make me doubt this badge. This is just my humble opinion. There is a great thread that is very...
