Kaiserliche Marine Tellermütze - S.M.S. Pommern

It sounds like this was a good deal and a piece acquired at a pretty nice price. The tally itself would be worth around 80-100 Euro on its own. The Tellermütze looks promising. I would like to see how the kokarde/cockade is attached to the blue top. The Mützenband and the cap might not have...

    UNITED STATES IMPORT EXPORT DEVELOPMENTS

I do know that for FedEx clients, it's volume (# of packages shipped in a certain time) that get them a better pricing. The more you ship, the better your pricing options. For Weitze, they ship exclusively with FedEX, hence the more reasonable shipping fees. Regards, JustinG

    UNITED STATES IMPORT EXPORT DEVELOPMENTS

Well, this is my first time hearing about bad experiences with FedEX. I am grateful to hear from other members who have had unfortunate experiences with this shipper. For International shipping, I have found FedEx to be the most speedy and deliberate in their service. Customs forms are...

    there must also be criticism

A few bad apples can ruin it for a lot. Am I missing the connection to this particular seller and deciding to stop selling to a certain country? Especially a country where with an English speaking forum, a great many members reside? I empathize with your frustration. It is totally up to...

    Flag or souvenir....

I would strongly suggest that you not attempt to move the painting from the case. The Glass and Paint could have become irreparably joined and if you were to try to remove the glass, it could separate the paint. Nice pieces. Best Regards, JustinG

    Guess Where?

I was stationed on the USCGC Mackinaw WAGB-83 home-ported in Cheboygan MI. Spent a lot of winters there breaking ice for underpowered liners and such. Lots of beautiful cities and such. Great ports of call. I have fond memories. Now the Mackinaw WAGB-83 is a museum ship in Mackinaw city.
