Arrived this week, an EM helmet from the Bavarian ILR ..with silver trim and still nicely dated 1915. Looks nearly worn and is complete with its original thin leather string at the innerliner. I truly love these silver Leib helmets..

Very nice catch Michiel 👍 That is indeed a M1847 belt buckle . They where worn very often during ww1. We've found a few of them as well nearby Verdun..
