Up close shots of its signature lines. I have read 2 reasons on how these were created. The first was these were made from being carved out by a spinning lathe machine, hence sometimes them being called “spun steel” ersatz. The other was from the dyes that pressed them out of the sheet steel.

Special thanks again to Brusik1 for allowing me to purchase this steel ersatz variant. These seem to fly off the shelves the moment they are up for sale. This one has brass fittings on that have not been chemically darkened and retains its original liner.

A very interesting felt variant. I haven’t seen either the tabs on rolled edged felts or even this cardboard washer on the bottom of the spike base. I also really like the tan color in this. Thanks for sharing

I think that numbering system makes sense. The Gummimaske had a similar numbering system for sizes if I’m not mistaken
