    Swords

Since all my swords are attached to a figure, it's interesting to see what's revealed when you draw one from its scabbard. I'd like to show you some of my most beautiful swords. Here is a Baden gift saber. The handle is made of solid silver. Freiherr von Gall - Freiherr von Gleichenstein

I bought both. The remaining pieces were shoulder pieces and chevrons. Plus a Boxer's sword.I think the photo wasn't sold because of the price. But what don't we buy when there's nothing else on the market? Or it's way too expensive?Well, then it's just something for decoration.

This isn't normally my area of collecting at all. But when I saw the photo, I had to have it. The belt buckle also came from the soldier's estate. Everything else from the estate was auctioned off.

Thank you all for your opinions. A collector certified this one complete helmet as a replica. Even so, he wanted to offer me €400 for it. That seemed odd to me. I didn't sell it and got it back. Thank goodness.

Thank you for your efforts. It's strange that there's no solder joint on the scepter. My profession is in the metalworking industry, but I don't quite understand this. Close-up photos of the solder joints again. I think there were many unexplained parts. I'm thinking it was the end of the war...
