    regarding originality, I don't know, but combination of square visor and rounded chin scales would suggest cavalry officer, ec dragoon, but it does not have a dragoon wappen (plate), so combination seems odd to me

    Not as impressive, but I always was fascinated by prehistoric times, trilobites and ammonites, looking a those beautiful creatures you are looking hundreds of millions back in time, the dinosaurs are recent creatures in comparison, so have some of those too
