Here in France they have a bank holiday, for the WWII victory. Not sure where this picture was taken...France or Belgium. If it is France it must be up north. I wunder where the helmet ended....

Recently I got some EK's in. Thise one is the size of a normal EK but embroid. Allways wanted one of those cloth EK's, just not sure thise one was ment to be put on a uniform.... It as a script on the back, not sure what it means. I see like; "21 nov 5" could it be a date, like 21 novembre...

Not sure what it is. It was sold in the auction room I attended too, for more then 50 years now, back in Antwerp. So I bought it over the phone with only thise pictures to judge. It looks like it is embroid but on the other hand, left under the frame there seems to be like a reinforcement strap...

Thise should mean something! I just got my bill regarding purchases I did at a French auction, and at the end of theyr message it says they no longer want to work with postal services like the ones I mentioned in the title. And I do understand them, oh so well !!

Very happy with my last antique shop find, as I will explain in short. I was allways intrested in crests; familly crests, town and state crests ... When I got in to the world of the familly crests it soon became a additional collecting field. Familly crets can be found in all kind of subjects...

Found thise very nice "stack-on" cabinet with side posts, on a trip today. Allways loved those. And it was cheap too...
