Any information regarding this medal appreciated, looks to be a small cased table medal, however for distinction before the enemy? Is this medal type specific to Infantry Regiment 97 only? It is silber (silver) 800 marked on rim and came together with its fitted case. Thanks in advance.

The body/shell has a few minor compression cracks around the edge, however; remains in very good-excellent condition for a 100+ year old felt ersatz helmet. My latest, not mint by any means. I am curious re the gold logo within the green silk liner, is it part of the makers details as per the ‘Markt Garde du Korps’ stamp on the leather liner band or the owners cartouche? Thanks all in advance.

I am no expert but this one looks completely untouched, no extra holes and one of the leather wedges missing (for fastening helmet plate). I cannot make out the unit designation unfortunately.
