Won this on EBay a couple of weeks ago, from Bavaria Germany. Seller had it listed as a 1910 leather, it is infact a 1914 vulkanfiber. The wappen is post - 20 February 1914, simplified and reduced i.e minus the vines. The helmet's sweatband being oilcloth, indicates wartime economy. Overall...
