It’s been a while since my last (also first) post in this section. Here we have an enlisted man in the 2 Garde Dragoner Regiment.

Another silver presentation cup. This time presented to Oberleutnant Von Schweinichen by the officers of IR76 in 1913. Oberleutnant Von Schweinichen served in the Regiment from 18 August 1898 until 22 March 1913. He then joined Danziger Infanterie Regiment Nr 128 and appears in the 1914...

I have had this silver cup for many years (a Christmas present from my parents when I was at school). It was presented to Major Von Witzleben by the officers of IR 91 in 1904. Major Von Witzleben served in the Regiment from 1875, so would presumably would have served under then Oberstleutnant...

.... it looks like is was for these guys when this photo was taken No identification on the back of the photo, but it looks like members of various Garde and possibly other cavalry regiments. Stating the obvious, colour would have made it much easier to identify the regiments, but guesses are...
