This Bavarian helmet just came in today and by the same company … M. Koltsch in Munich … that made a gorgeous Chevaulegers uniform I bought at Show of Shows. Normally I collect excellent to mint condition but the aging and toning of this piece really appealed to me and it also being untouched.

Looking for a Bavarian silver Trichter.

I need the recommendations of collectors here as to who I can call on to reattach the liner to the sweatband in my Bavarian officer’s Pickelhaube. It is about 75% detached. Any help appreciated. Mike

A friend of mine contacted me yesterday and asked how the Pickelhaube guys fix light dings or rubs that squeezed down into the leather a bit. He actually has the problem with a Luger holster but thought any tidbits or advice you might have would be useful. Let me know.
