Bob It could well be…a seller on German eBay was breaking up an album…most of the portraits were of this Regiment and very similar to mine…that’s were I got mine….is this one anew acquisition?
The photographers really knew their craft….not all are this clear, but when they are, they are fantastic….hopefully a library of these portraits will be of assistance to the members.

Yes agree…I am guessing in that shine you can see the reflection of the window the studio used to light the portrait. if only these were color images back then.
