111 JR SHOULDER STRAP

Gentlemen,
I was able to track down a 111JR shoulder strap. It looked to be in good condition so I purchased it to go with the rest of my collection for the 111 JR. I haven't seen these very often.

Good find. As you noted these are very difficult to locate. I am hunting for another Baden IR110 strap to go onto my Baden display and that is proving to be a tough one to find as well.

I posted a picture a couple of years ago as I was starting out but have since added a number of items to include some US gear from the unit (2nd (US) Div) that faced the 111JR at Belleau Wood. Nothing nearly as impressive as what you have amassed over the years but I was never stationed in Germany. My overseas tours were in the Pacific, Middle East and Central America. My wife and daughter have recently begun referring to the corner of my office as "the museum" and say that I should start charging admission. You may recall that you had a part in helping me complete the chinstrap for my pickelhaube.
