Had this on my wall for quite some time and still like it despite some plating losses. I would really like a scabbard for it if anyone knows of one that would take an 83.5cm blade?
Regards to all, Steve.

A great Dragoon Regiment with "Waterloo "battle honor
I am not sure that I would a scabbard for it
Why cover up that great blade ?
Steve

Well you do have a point Steve, it's just that I'd like to complete it as it once was.
Loose scabbards are hard to come by online and I can't get out to arms fairs as I used to, so it may end up staying as it is.
Do you have a helmet for this regiment? I have never seen one.

I understand the not getting out part
The only D R 16 that I have is for an officer
enlisted would be hard to come by
maybe some of the fellows in Europe have enlisted helmet for D R 16
or maybe 911car Bruno ?

That is beautiful Steve, the contrasting silver/gilt fittings make it really stand out. And, of course, that magical Waterloo bandeau!
Must have been quite a sight with their yellow trimmed blue uniform. Thanks.
Steve.
