17th Hussar Regiment - Lance drill

These are great images Bob. The officer wearing a Paletot is standing beside a man wearing a double breasted coat similar to a Litweka. The kepi seems to be the Braunschweig Paletot officer style, but the tunic seems to have collar stars (?) and those should boards I do not recognize. Visiting foreign officer? Rat catcher?
 
Looks like a Dutch cap, called "Kepie" to me...also the braided schoulder straps are the same as Dutch in that period...but the double row of buttons bothers me...so perhaps Danish ?
( is also more obvious geographically, I think)
