I got pretty excited at first then I gave it a good hard look.

Looks to be resoldered ( they say in the text and you can tell)

Those 2 holes in the wings are a red flag.

I will not bid on it but I am thinking that the fuerst plate may be original but it has been sand blasted then the loops solder on .

That could explain the 2 tiny holes in the eagle.
 
When some good old stamps have been blackened on such a helmet, you can be sure that this is an additional big red flag. One still can see JR50 or JR60 under the blackened area on the left of back visor...

You have a good eye Philippe, my thoughts exactly when I looked at this. Sometimes we collectors have to stop hoping something to be real when it really isn't. I got burned at the SOS on a fake Saxe Jaeger wappen as a result. I wanted it so much that I ignored the warning signs. :(
