That looks very cool...one wonders why the sudden interest in WW1 by movie makers?? God knows WW2 has gotten the most attention.

I would venture to say Peter Jackson's interest sparked other filmmakers. I think the problem with WWI is that filmmakers don't know what to do - in the U.S. it is just thought of as muddy trenches. So one story may seem like the rest.
