$276.00 for a rusted down chin strap $$!!

Yow!, I thiink the strap is not that bad, but when I first saw the listing, it was $168 and I thought it was high then, you are right, for that money you could buy a helmet that was in poor shape and remove the chin strap and flog the helmet and probably get the strap for a song. I can remember selling a very nice camo M16 with liner and a very nice chin strap for less than that now long ago (well, as we get older, we are usually under the dilusion that it was not long ago, but it was about 10 years ago)
