MANY people really want a Machine Gunner's shako. The plate and reshaping are easy fixes! I hardly ever see these for sale...

I've only seen a few machine gunner shakos up for sale so far and the ones that show up on ebay are often fake.

If the seller was a civilian, then he sure got one heck of a surprise as a result of that price. I have never seen an MG shako up for sale on Ebay.
