Hi Nevb,
Are these items presented here as originals? I hope I'm wrong, but the grouping raises a lot of questions with me.
Regards,
Lars

Hi Lars
I was under the impression the group was original but stand to be corrected . What causes your concerns ?

Best

Welcome to the forum and I think you have come to the right place to get honest feedback There are some amazing post on all things related to Imperial German headgear but also many World War I items from many nations who fought in that conflict. It looks like you have a nice grouping. As far as original or not, I do not know.
Best regards
John

Hi Nev,
The way the Feldzeichen has been stiched, and the stitching, colours, piping and stamps of the jacket. The cord of the Erkennungsmarke looks incorrect also.

Lars
Thanks Lars . Your advice is appreciated.

I also do not like it.
Stamps are definitely not original. As far as I know BA.III stamp never had a date underneath. See, below.

White thread on the collar near the piping area is also not good.
