What firm produced a felt helmet with this silhouette and side reinforcement pieces?
 
Saw that one too and I'm not convinced that its 100% original. I am suspicious about the chinstrap and liner, which look a bit too fresh to me. But perhaps I am wrong here.

I would venture a guess that the reinforcements were intended for the inside, but were moved to the outside to give a larger size.
