Hello all
I am a new member who has always wanted a genuine Pickelhaube but been unable to afford one.
I have attached 3 pics of a badge I bought today and will be listed on Ebay tomorrow that show what I hope is a genuine Fuerst Wappen from the Anhalt 93rd Infantry Regiment.
In my opinion it deserves to go back onto a helmet or to an appreciative home.
As you can see from the pictures the condition is fair with the right leg and orb missing as well as the sword from the left leg. Some of the original gilding remains.
Any comments both good and bad would be welcomed
