A couple shoulder straps in a sleepy museum

Here are a couple of shoulder straps in storage and not on display in a sleepy museum.

They were brought home by a 77th Division U.S. veteran.

The museum will not sell them. I could offer them $2,000 and they would not sell them.

It was fun to handle them and be allowed to take photos of them.

They could not find the matched pair of Minenwerfer shoulder straps that I saw years ago, in 2007, in storage. Hopefully they did not "walk off", and will be located soon by a dedicated volunteer staff member.

Enjoy!
