Well, assuming you looked at the markings with the link I provided, can anyone offer an explanation how a cap stamped to the IX Armee-Korps Bekleidungsamt ended up being issued to J.B. Nr. 7 (Westfälisches Jäger-Batl.Nr.7) in the VII Armee Korps?
 
Sorry, Tony, I'm totally ignorant so I really don't know how difficult these are to find. Puzzeling about the Armee Korps stamps.

Doh! Seems I missed this one in a misterious way... What a great and rare krätzchen you have there Tony!
Concerning the markings, I think there are some specialists out there who can explain this, but my knowledge about these things dous not reach far enough....
Anyway, when you get tired on this one, there is a good home waiting for this amazing piece... 8)
