A nice Baden for an enlisted of a train battalion

Dear All

Since I have had time and the weather has been, another one of my helmets for your comments.

This time, a straightforward Baden for a train regiment TR.XIV dated 1904. Also named to his former owner in the inner part of the front visor.

All leather, traditional construction and nothing too unusual... Nice EM wappen (I like its still rather vibrant finish) and original cockades and chinstrap. The interior is still in very good order, with its original liner strap.

A nice, original helmet.

Model 1895 Baden Train Abteilung 14 Mannschaften Pickelhaube. Not as freakishly mint as Bruno's, but one of my favourites and frosty enough. A very old friend. LINK

Very nice! These are not common. Is it marked?

The only mark that I can make out on the Tschako is a "59" denoting the size.
