A pair of Uhlan Regt 6 Major epaulettes

Just in yesterday
this nice pair of U R 6 for Major
What is interesting besides the high profile cyphers
the cresants are of silver
and I would expect them to be brass / gilt
I have seen this before on reserve officers before
I have a Prussian pair and a Wurttemberg pair like that
but normaly there is an extra color line in the Prissian tape .
No question that they are correct .
Anyone have an ideas ?

That is great information
Years ago I had a nice U R 6 enlisted helmet that I sold
to a collector friend ( mistake ) From Memory I thought that the
front plate was brass ( another mistake ) so without looking
at my reference I was thinking gilt color .My uncle always told me ;
"Juinor when all else fails , read the directions " ( reference )
