And to widen the subjet, the exact opposite : a Garde helmet with a Grenadier plate, on which was begun the mounting of a Garde Stern.
You can notice of the reverse side of the plate. the holes were done before putting the gilding.

The plate has screws, is a troop plate, so could be an old Eigentum plate which may have been used at the mobilisation for units form RIR 201-204 which were raised from Garde Depots.

The helmet itself is a very old piece, dated from 1897 from KEGGR3. It was found in a private home ten years ago.
