Hello,

:sad5: :sad5: :sad5:

If you bid and pay, I'm sure you can arrange for a US member to take delivery then forward it to you. (if you pay postage that is! :) )
I can't open the page here at work, so I'll look at home tonight.

I've seen the regular Prussian plate on an all-leather, gray-trimmed Tschapka, but didn't know for sure if this style plate was produced in gray metal.
Talk about a rare bird...

I also have never seen one of these. I was wondering about the size of the wappen, it certainly fits well down on the visor. There is also no mention of no extra holes in the shell etc. Tried to ask a question, but it came up that the seller was not available to answer questions. I ran into this before with the Saxon officer helme missing the spike last week. I got the same response from Ebay. I would have bid on the Saxe. The guy got 1 bid for $800, he screwed himself as far as I am concerned. I grow tired of these US sellers who restrict their sales to the US, at least, make it North America??? God knows, I live a hell of a lot closer to many US sellers than folks out on the Pacific coast and in between. Especially, Idaho!! Oddly enough, when I can contact US sellers, 98% have no problem shipping to Canuck land. Anyway, sour grapes on my part I guess...I get the same on G Bay. I will stop whining now.

I've run into items on German eBay that are barred from U.S. buyers due to Paypal not being a payment option. The BayPal conglomerate might miss a dollar or two if we sent money by Western Union.

Should any one end up with this could you please send me a picture to add to this article?
