Colours are weird and do not look period. Never seen a camo before with no black lines seperating the colours before either. From what I have read, there were supposed to be finger wide black painted lines between the colours.

There were some exceptions to this rule, but not using this 1960's testors colour palette...

Indeed the colours look weird at first sight. Nevertheless there are a lot of helmets with weird colours. These actually make me think of the camo colours of planes... Just a guess of course. To determine if they are real, a hands on would be nessecary...
This camo without the black lines is indeed not so common, but they do excist... here's another example...
