Costume, not in my area of interest, not from 1930 either IMHO.

The helmets in AQWF were originals. This helmet is not as old as my 6th grader.

My thoughts too. Could be a prop, but not old. The second AQWF with Richard Thomas used those cloth covered ones. Once in a while one of those comes up for auction, which is pretty cool.

The spike and plate might be originals on this one, but the huge description can't explain away the bogus leather shell.

Good parts helmet perhaps. Keep the shell for Halloween... Carnival, etc.

I once owned a French uniform that was used in AQoWF, it was an original. To me this looks to be someones part collection put together to make a helmet.

The shell, liner and visors are all modern. Some of the fittings could be correct but all the leather and stitching are new and I am betting made in India. Note that the seller is well aware of the Indian copies. There is one huge mistake in these Indian ones which always gives them away but I am not going to broadcast this defect here. The seller is probably looking at our comments as we speak.

Let him look. He has at least one bidder... (no, not me)
