This is on a friend's helmet. The Wappen does not belong on it, but it is basically an early Pickelhaube, squared visors, cruciform spike base, rounded scales etc. I cannot find the spike pattern in my refs, but I seem to recognize it as an early spike top from one of the smaller states??
