You wouldn't believe it, but that happened to me as well, except this was in a 'what is it worth' military antiques book. I was pleased to see that an Austrian fire helmet I'd purchased the year before the book came out had increased in value 500% in a year... :lol: It's funny how the little inconsistencies on one's helmet can really stand out in a photo.

I couldn't load the web pages here at school, so haven't seen the arty. helmet on the auction.
