The ball base is reversed and it has some odd-looking dome rivets (paper fasteners?) instead of stars.
The interior reinforcing plate is missing, as well as the cloth liner section.

What's missing is easy to replace. I thought it looked pretty nice until I noticed that it has a 'crease' in it (cracked lacquer and a light area inside of the helmet) that might spell problems in the future. Something to think about, but this would clean up nice, I think.
