Nice. Just like the Preußens, Baden dusted off the retired Badisches Train-Bataillon Nr.14 (Durlach) and issued them to Landsturm. Very nice.

Only the left one. Unless I use a Pickelhaube Wappen for comparison it just looks like a Pickelhaube Wappen right? Its the last entry on this thread

Right.

Fascinating stuff, and 10 points for your photography, it really does justice to these pieces. I was particularly interested in the Saxon - with and without horn wappen. Subtle differences - okay, a horn might not be so subtle, but unless they're pointed out, can easily be overlooked by the not-so-attentive.
