It looks like it's a pressed material. The stars on the Kugel's base appear to be pressed out, too.

All looks good except the kugle base.
Looks to be from a kinder helmet.

I also think this is for childs or theater. There are no stitches in the shell, the sweat-leather of the liner is out of coarse fabric, the Trimm is from another helmet and the officer stars are included to the base.

Kinder helmet in tough shape, Have many that have a mixture of real and kinder parts.

To bad would have been a great helmet at one time.
