Bavarian Bürgerwehr

Looks like a fine modell 1853 OR helmet to me but it will be difficult to complete the missing chin scale.
 
I like that kind of early Bavarian helmet!

Silly question, but wouldn't it be relatively easy to get a modern metal worker to make a new chinscale link? I might be being very naive here...
