Bavarian ersatz filz.

As you all can see, this helmet has no markings whatsoever..This steel band runs all the way around the inside, and the Knopf 91 are secured through it. Also, the way the leather from the liner seems to be a bit folded around that band I never saw an ersatz filz helmet like this before..
Maybe other members know more about it?

Thanks Peter! The picture of the wappen was made with flash on my phone, in reality is isn't that shiney. But a bit too much, that's for sure.
It will get better though, as I never clean wappens. In a few years it will be okay.
