Bavarian or just a costume item?

It looks sort of Bavarian at first glance, but the shape is odd and the liner looks new. Maybe it's a costume item. :-k

I would say it's a costume item, as I've never seen that shape before, even for Bavaria or Austria and the liner is obviously no good. The craftsmanship of the trim and such is very poor as is the rabbat (spelling??) on the 'mortar board'. As a matter of fact, it looks like the board is about as old as the liner if you look at the poorly executed sewing on the inside... However, I don't know the uniforms of the smaller European countries, so I'll leave that for the more expert in the area.
