I am giving up on this bavarian reserve officer project.
Helmet body has some crazing due to age. Bavarian reserve wappen has all its crowns pierced. It is secured to the helmet body by three groups of split prongs. A size 57. No extra holes behind the wappen. Brass fittings to all except for the silver reserve cross.
There are two sets of holes in the helmet crown. A set for infantry round spike base and another set for cruciform spike base.
Front and rear visors have holes that lined up with the helmet body. Rear spine sits well with the helmet body and rear visor too.
Original Reich and State officer cockades.
