Hi all,
Doing this for a fellow in my state who's selling this one. Bavarian reserve officer. To me, it looks like the rosettes are an earlier type (with the screw centers), that had the screws replaced with 'wing' fasteners for paper files.
Anyway, here's the rub. He lives in Wisconsin, north of Muscoda in a town called Orion, which is in the south central part of the state between Spring Green and Prairie du Sac. He cannot mail it, so if anybody is interested you'll need to pick it up from him. So, that limits his options. He's working to raise money for a handicap accessible van for his work. So, photos, take a look. The display case is included if you like, or he can hold onto it. All in all, not a bad looking example IMHO.
He's asking $2,000 US OBO.
